A Jurupa Valley native and proud Rubidoux alum, Coach Thompson has been coaching high school football for over 22 years. Known for his discipline, energy, and commitment to player development, he has led the Rubidoux program since 2015. A history enthusiast, early riser, and proud girl dad, Coach Thompson continues a family legacy of Rubidoux football with passion and purpose.
With nearly two decades of coaching experience, Coach Smith brings intensity, authenticity, and heart to Rubidoux Football. A former D-line player and Apple Valley alum, he’s also a musician, comic book collector, and proud believer in letting players be their true selves.
Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Coach Mokerski brings over 22 years of experience to Rubidoux Football. He’s coached at several top programs across the IE, making 16 CIF playoff appearances and winning a CIF championship in 2015. A passionate coach who loves pets, sports, family, and friends, he’s excited to contribute to the proud tradition of Falcon football.

A proud Jurupa Valley native and Rubidoux High School alum (Class of 2007), Coach Kelly began his collegiate football career at Chaffey College before earning a scholarship to play Division I ball at the University of Tennessee at Martin. After college, he entered public service and has served on City Council and as Mayor of Jurupa Valley. Beyond his leadership roles, Kelly remains deeply involved in youth athletics—he also coaches with the Jurupa Steelers Pop Warner football program. He’s a devoted father to his son and continues to contribute positively to the community on and off the field.

Coach Henry Andrade has been a dedicated member of the Rubidoux football staff since 2016, coaching wide receivers, defensive backs, and special teams. A former standout wide receiver, he played for the SMU Mustangs from 1980–1985, helping lead the team to a co-national championship in 1983. Before his collegiate career, Coach Andrade excelled at Hiram Johnson High School in Sacramento, earning All-NorCal honors and a spot in the Optimist All-Star Game in 1980.
Coach Pat Thompson Sr. brings 45 years of coaching experience to Rubidoux, having previously coached at Poly, Notre Dame, Jurupa Valley and Rubidoux. Over his career, he has mentored standout athletes including Hall of Fame players Ryan and Sammy Knight, as well as NFL running back Kenjon Barner.
Coach John Bercich has been part of the Rubidoux football staff for the past three seasons, working with the Falcons’ specialists and defensive backs. A standout at Los Altos High School in the San Gabriel Valley, he earned All-League honors as both a kicker and defensive back and was named to the All-San Gabriel Valley Team. He lives in

He lives in Eastvale with his wife and two children and works for the Jurupa Unified School District in the Maintenance Department. In his free time, Coach Bercich enjoys camping trips with his family to the river and Glamis.

A dedicated educator, he has taught PE for 12 years—both at the high school and elementary levels—and currently teaches at La Granada Elementary in Riverside. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports science from the University of La Verne and a master’s degree in education from California Baptist University. Off the field, he enjoys time with his wife, Jessica, and their children—Jackson, Luke, and Lilly.

A former wide receiver at La Habra High School and Santa Ana College, he has coached youth football since 2006 and spent two seasons coaching varsity DBs at Valley View High School. Coach Kemp is president of the Empire Sun Devils youth football organization and the West Coast Elite All-Stars, operating the largest 7v7 circuit in the Inland Empire. An athletic trainer at Prep Centers Football Academy since 2012, he has helped train countless athletes for success on and off the field. He holds a degree in computer science.
